Heather Valente

Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist and Chinese Herbalist

Heather has dedicated the last 10 years to preparing to become a health practitioner. She went to Arizona State University to increase her knowledge about exercise and nutrition after spending her childhood and teenage years dancing and performing. Heather spent the next few years doing personal training and working alongside Physiotherapists and Naturopaths to be able to teach and help others. She then went on to study Traditional Chinese Medicine in Sydney. During this time, Heather did one of her internships under a Paediatric Acupuncturist. Her focus during University was on Knee Pain, Back Pain, and Allergies. Heather started her career in Sydney at a Women’s Health Clinic. Heather then went to the USA to further her studies and career opportunities. Heather was fortunate to work alongside a wonderful Chinese Medicine Practitioner. This exceptional opportunity allowed Heather to enhance her clinical skills in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

Heather treats each patient as an individual. Her treatments may involve the use of Acupuncture, Chinese Massage, Chinese Herbal Medicine, cupping, and moxibustion. Your treatment will include answering a series of questions so Heather can determine the best diagnosis to treat you. She will then decide which modality or modalities will be the most effective for you.
